POSITION OVERVIEW
Forest Forward is searching for an experienced Tessitura Manager to serve as the enterprise owner and internal expert for Tessitura across both Forest Forward and the Forest Theater. This role is responsible for stewarding a unified CRM that supports ticketing, fundraising, memberships, education programs, marketing, and community engagement—ensuring that data, systems, and insights are aligned with the strategic goals of both entities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Enterprise Tessitura Ownership & Governance
- Serve as primary administrator and strategic owner of Tessitura.
- Ensure Tessitura functions as the single source of truth.
- Maintain data governance, privacy, and compliance.
- Act as primary liaison to Tessitura Network and vendors.
- Manage user roles, permissions, and security groups using least privilege principles.
Revenue Enablement: Ticketing, Fundraising & Memberships
- Support ticketing, subscriptions, pricing, promotions, and access control.
- Enable donor pipelines, recurring giving, and benefits administration.
- Build and manage membership and loyalty programs.
- Oversee integrated payment processing.
Business Intelligence, Reporting & Insights
- Develop dashboards, reports, and forecasts.
- Analyze audience and donor trends.
- Enable self-service analytics.
- Support budgeting and long-term planning.
Cross-Functional Enablement & Training
- Serve as internal Tessitura expert and advisor.
- Design and deliver training and documentation.
- Align business processes with system capabilities.
- Provide ongoing user support.
Pre-Opening & Go-Live Deliverables
- Lead implementation and onboarding with Tessitura.
- Configure systems for inaugural season and fundraising.
- Ensure organizational readiness at launch.
- Establish long-term governance and documentation.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 5–7+ years of Tessitura administration experience.
- Expertise across CRM, ticketing, fundraising, memberships, and reporting.
- Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills.
- Experience leading implementations or migrations.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Alignment with mission-driven arts and community organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to produce clear documentation (SOPs, runbooks, technical notes, training guides).
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This is a full-time, salaried position with a fixed compensation of $80,000 annually complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This position will require evening and weekend work in alignment with performances, events, and peak operating periods.
